Beloved Carroll County Woman Passes After Long Illness
Maggie Gardner a longtime Carroll County resident died at her daughter’s home near Delphi Saturday morning after several months of illness. She was born June 13 1868 in Rock Creek township and joined Brown Presbyterian later Camden Lutheran Church a faithful worker in church life. Survived by five children six including two sons and three daughters, three brothers, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral at Lutheran church Camden Monday 10 30 Rev Fabianske officiating. interment Camden cemetery.

The new Federal building at Delphi is nearing completion with the basement housing rooms for the Agricultural Agent a federal employee and other facilities. The main floor will hold the post office lobby and entrance while the third floor provides a swing room for carriers and clerks with an inspector’s gallery. Electrically wired fixtures lock boxes and marble work are in progress and a dedication will follow completion.
