He noted possible milk rationing could be needed and that larger coupon quantities might replace many small ones.

Judge W C Coleman said jail time would not be imposed this first case but warned dealers of possible imprisonment in future convictions.
The list shows 1943 maximum prices for bottled whiskeys in the Baltimore metropolitan area as computed by the Office of Price Administration effective August 30 1943. Various brands and bottle sizes are priced including Canadian Club Imperial Lord Calvert Calvert Reserve Four Roses Paul Jones Supreme and Old Faithful with notes that some county freight charges may increase prices by up to two dollars per bottle and additional prices to be published next week.
The State plans about 7 800 dollars in public ads to collect roughly 6 000 dollars in 1942 taxes from corporations that failed to file reports or pay franchise and personal property taxes. Officials say the listings will weed out “dead wood” among 4 947 delinquent corporations and 275 under the Comptroller, with expected total collections not exceeding 6 000 dollars.
