St Johns Institute Reunion Highlights Cambridge Catholic Society

The St John’s Literary Institute in Cambridge held its reunion with a grand march led by Mayor Wardwell and Mrs. Frank Shaughnessy. City Aldermen Approve City Building Alteration and Roadway Funds

Last Tuesday the board of aldermen approved eight thousand dollars for the Charles River roadway and two thousand for Rindge Field improvements. An amendment excluding library staff from a six month half holiday passed, and a thirty six thousand five hundred dollar alteration in City Building was approved. Public hearings on soft coal use for the Boston Woven Hose Co Gale Lumber Co and the Boston El Co drew business leaders but produced no objections.
