No-License Committee Elected At Annual Meeting

At the No-License Citizens meeting in Central Building the 1907-08 No-License Committee was chosen with members from wards 1 through 11. Treasurer Lawrence G. Brooks reported expenses of 777.20 and receipts of 796.47 with a small year-end balance. The organizing officers were Chairman Frederick W. Dallinger Secretary Forrest C. Rivinius and Treasurer Lawrence G. Brooks.

Vernon Social Event Highlights Local gathering at Odd Fellows Hall

Vernon $8.0 social club members hosted their second annual ball at Odd Fellows Hall Central Square with Melnnes orchestra presiding. President Patrick Sullivan led a successful evening entertaining many guests. The Central Square group draws large crowds at socials.
