The Cambridge School Committee met Monday with key League of Women Voters members present. The group voted to allow Armenian Educational Committee use of schoolrooms for history and English. Cambridge Lodge of Elks plans a benefit at Central Square Theatre Cambridge on Tuesday November 10 to aid welfare workers and school attendance officers facing growing child distress as winter nears. Tickets cost 50 cents.
More than 1000 members attend a 9 am Mass at Sacred Heart Church East Cambridge followed by breakfast at Thorndike School Hall Spring Street. Mass celebrated by Rev Leonard Feeney SJ with assistants Rev Joseph P Mahar Rev Thomas L Griffin Rev John J Joyce and Rev Robert H Hurley. Parochial school choir performs with solos by John Z Kelley and Thomas A Quinn.
