St Mary's Play to Feature Galway Piper in Hall

St Mary's Parochial School will stage The Galway Piper next Wednesday and Thursday in St Mary's hall with a 300 cast plus 100 student musicians. Rev John A Butler heads the church, Rev E Joseph Burke directs with J Francis Stevens. a social matinee is set for Sunday at 8 pm. The production includes a grand chorus and solos by Lawrence Bastone and others. dances by the Fitz contingent.

Inman Trust Reorganization Report Progress Reopening

About thirty members of the Depositors' Reorganization Committee met with Bank Commissioner Guy to report progress toward reopening the Inman Trust Company. They announced 2,248 depositors had assented and $800,000 had been subscribed, including $600,000 by depositors and $200,000 by directors. Under the plan Commercial Department depositors are asked to subscribe fifty percent of their deposits toward stock in the reorganized bank and Savings Department depositors follow.
