Death of veteran Cambridge realtor Manuel W. Francis
Manuel W. Francis 89 a longtime Cambridge real estate broker and former shoe merchant died Monday at his son Olmore C. Francis's home in Cambridge after a long illness. He operated real estate in Cambridge Boston and Jacksonville since 1897 and owned shoe stores in Eliot and Washington streets Boston Detroit and Meriden Conn. He was born in St John New Brunswick and married Mary Marsters of St John. He is survived by Olmore, two other sons Frederick F. Francis of Boston and Francis Francis of Cambridge and eight grandchildren.
