Tax Rate Increase to 41 Dollars per Thousand

B. M. South Club Plans Summer Fishing Trip

The B. and M. South Club departs Kendall Square at five o'clock Sunday morning for its first summer fishing trip. A cash prize will go to the angler catching the largest fish and moving pictures will be made of the journey. Committee members are Charles A. McDonald Emile Laurier and Ralph Coyle.

Treas Carroll Assumes Office in City Hall Ceremony

With the new month a fresh City Treasurer arrives at City Hall on Wednesday finding his desk adorned with floral bouquets from well wishers. The event marks his official assumption of duties under the mayoral administration.

Park Board special meeting on park department reorganization

A special Park Board session was held to discuss administrative reorganization of the Park Department. Six of nine members signed the call led by Prof. Carroll Doten. Controversy arose over naming ex Rep F D Coady Superintendent of Parks while Mahoney would become Director of Recreation.
