Chief Gutheim Inspects New 100-Foot Ladder Truck

Fire Chief Gutheim reported back from Kenosha Wisconsin where the Peter Pirsch Co. is building a 100 ft aluminum serial ladder truck for the city. He praised the maker and said the unit will meet all modern requirements with a lighting plant and three sections. Ladders will reach over Central Square for an exhibit next fall and the apparatus will be housed at Lafayette Square Station in the fall.
