Mrs. Ella Tierman returns from summer with daughter in Cleveland Ohio and plans winter with another daughter here. Miss Nila Jones weekends at New Castle with Mr and Mrs Clifford Ricks and son Bobbie. Mr and Mrs J J Cleary return from vacation in Denver Colorado. Mrs McKinley Leapley of Murcie visits sister Mrs Charles Lowry and family. Mr and Mrs Earl Hormel of Liberty visit sister Lena Denton. Mrs Harry Bachmann stays with her father in Middletown Ohio. Mr and Mrs Orville Denning and daughter of Brockville visit Rich mond area parents Ancil Williams.
Local residents and visitors are listed with weekend and weekday visits. Jean and Joan Hines stayed with grandmother Ida Jamieson. Annette Winter visited Kokomo relatives. Christina Dryer hosted a Greens Fork visit. Everett Rodenberg won dahlia show honors in Muncie. several families moved homes and attended events in Muncie Warren Anderson Muncie and Cambridge City areas.
Mrs. Fred Scott hosted a cooperative dinner for Maisonette sales ladies and Ward Stilson company staff. Residents and guests from Richmond Greensfork Hagerstown Centerville Pershing and Dublin joined family and club activities including the Help One Another flower show and the Harrison Township Home Economics club dinner. Rebekah lodge members attended a Sunday picnic at Merritt Gilmore's home.
Mr. Babson, Tribune economics writer, travels to Germany to study the German Czech crisis and its causes and likely outcomes. He plans to report findings in future Tribune articles.
The Z L Booster class of the Lutheran church at Pershing will hold a Sunday evening service at 7 30 next Sunday at the church. Miss Bessie Buhl of Centerville will present in the story The Life of Christ. The public is cordially invited.
The Republican Womans Club met at Mrs. M. H. Gaar's home last Friday with good reports on the Capehart rally from Mrs. Ruby Rees, Mrs. Martindale, and Mrs. Phillips. Members read news clippings and planned an open meeting for Thursday October 20 at 7 30 pm at Lincoln auditorium featuring prominent speakers.
Mr and Mrs Elias Scott and daughter Betty Lou hosted a Sunday dinner at their Jacksonburg home with guests including Mr and Mrs Sidney Henn of New Paris Ohio Mr and Mrs Sumner Henn of West Manchester Ohio Mr and Mrs Garl Ledbetter and daughters of Hagerstown Mr and Mrs Frank Gauker and daughter and Mr and Mrs Ray Lingenfelter.
Mr and Mrs Earl Clevenger and son Bobbie and Mr and Mrs Arthur Cornthwaite spent Sunday at Crooked Lake enjoying a family outing and leisure time together.
Mrs. E. O. Beeson has been quite sick since the first of the week, affecting her health and daily routine as family and friends monitor her condition.

Miss Betty Wiseman left for Western College Oxford Ohio with Alfred Wiseman and Margaret Ann Bachmann. Charles Stevens received tetanus treatment after injuring his foot.
