The official enrollment report shows Pershing 58 pupils Central 312 Lincoln high 284 total, with Lincoln up 15 and Central up 37 while Pershing down 12. Teachers met Sept 15 at Central to discuss local and state questions and plan the year’s work. Chapel program featured readings, music, and an address by Rev Scheidler. future chapel duties assigned to Winks. Lincoln sponsors for each class listed, including Scott and Dickson among seniors and juniors, Winks among sophomores, Bozoarth among freshmen, Allen for eighth grade, Gable for seventh. Former students Ulrich and Judkins aided Lincoln with a project on mounted birds, improving the birds’ care after a gasoline bath, with praise for their service.
