Charles J. Martz born October 19 1837 in Cambridge City Indiana died August 30 1927 in Cambridge City aged 39 years 10 months 11 days. A cabinet maker by trade he lived most of his life in Cambridge City and served in the Coast Artillery in World War I. He leaves his father George J. Martz two sisters Edith Allen and Minnie Post a nephew Charles Allen and many relatives and friends.
J F Curtin of Connersville visited his daughter Mrs I O Stant and attended the Dublin fair. Mrs Charles Scott returned to Cincinnati. The MN E rally day is Oct 9. Mr and Mrs Lloyd Hayward of Anderson spent the weekend here with relatives. Mrs Guy Lyman of Straughn visited her parents Mr and Mrs Dayton Kiser. Doctor and patient joke about eating fruit.
