A second dividend distribution of thirteen percent on claims against the First National Bank and Trust Company remains unclaimed in the Receiver’s office. Claimants must appear in person with their Receiver's Certificate before October 1, 1935, to endorse payment or the checks will be sent back to Washington, D. C.

Mr and Mrs B R Conner and Mr and Mrs George Shafer with Charles Smith Woody and Harry Conner and Miss Leeta and Margaret Conner spent Wednesday and Thursday in Indianapolis. Miss Dorothea Urbahns will leave Monday to enter Tudor Hall Indianapolis for the school term. Miss Martha Thompson will enter wart ham for a business course. Mr and Mrs George Beeson and daughter of Muncie spent Sunday with his parents Mr and Mrs Ed Beeson.
Mrs. B L Stratton and son Paul and Mrs Russell Stonecipher visited Mr and Mrs Robert Elliott in Indianapolis Thursday. The infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Elliott was buried Wednesday in Indianapolis.

The marriage of Mrs Helen Reese and Edgar Stewart of Connersville was announced last week at their Boyd apartments. The ceremony occurred August 19 in Covington Kentucky. Mrs Stewart has sold the Reeservice Shop to W L Bacon.

Cambridge City graduates formed a new alumni group at Lincoln auditorium on June 5 with Harrison Bachmann in charge. The 1935 officers are Fred Hines president Valetta Bachmann vice president Ruth Weaver treasurer and Ruth Judkins secretary. The first major gathering was the August 27 alumni banquet at Lincoln auditorium with over 300 reservations, featuring a garden flower setting a dinner by M E church ladies and a program of alumni speakers and letters from coast to coast.
Regular meeting of the Help One Another club planned for Sept 18 at Mrs Ida Walters home. Local families and guests attend state fair events and family reunions at Greenfield Harrisburg Connersville and Dublin. Wedding announced for Wayne Brooks and Miss Engle. college plans for Mary Jean Dougherty. numerous calls and visits noted among residents.
Milton defeated Merchants 4 to 3 in the opening game at Milton. Lefty Theobald pitched seven strong innings for Milton, allowing nine hits while Don Mann of Merchants gave up seven. Key plays included a tying and winning single aided by a fluke double and an error in the seventh.
