Karl M. Reese born September 11 1595 in Connersville Indiana died August 31 1920 at his Front Royal Virginia home aged 24 years 11 months and 20 days. Survived by parents John T. and Alice M. Reese two brothers Herbert Reese and Arthur C. Reese. He married Sue Ellis in 1917 and had two children. He served as financial clerk at the Army Air Remount Depot and was a musician and church member. Funeral at K P Diffenderfer residence with Rev R C Jones. burial Riverside.

Willing Workers raised 75 at Davenport-Barnes and 4 at the Howard sale while Evangelical ladies netted 336 from an ice cream social. Millard Warfel of Germantown died after a streetcar collision in Richmond. He left a wife, three daughters and three sons, and was remembered as a long-time post office worker and respected citizen. Funeral planned at Evangelical church.

Hoover Reunion Draws Hoovers From Many Counties
On September 2 1920 a Hoover reunion was held at the home of Mr and Mrs J C Howard north of Cambridge City Indiana. J E Hoover of Yeoman presided with Mrs Barbra Millton treasurer and Miss Myrtle Goslee secretary all from Carroll county. Attendees included many Hoovers and relatives from Cambridge City New Lisbon Connersville Rushville Center Indianapolis Yeoman Oakville and Wilkinsburg. A noon spread of fried chicken cakes and salads followed by carved watermelons ended a day of visiting with no formal program.
