Harry Conner transfers from East End filling station to an office in the Richmond supply department. Charles Morris and Maynar Bertsch take charge of the station here. Miss Betty Wiseman hosted house guests last week Misses Frances and Wilma Bentley of New Castle and Miss Genevieve Kniese of Milton.
Miss Elizabeth Kennedy spent over Sunday with Mr and Mrs Raymond Kennedy and friends in Indianapolis enjoying a brief rural trip and social visit during the weekend.
Mrs. Will Woodward entertained the elder Huddleston family members at her Mount Auburn home on Tuesday. The gathering included arrangements for Eudoris Cripe of Chicago Mrs. Margaret Bond of Greenfield Harley Ludington of Muncie Mrs Verlinda Lafever of Connersville and others.

Attending were Mrs. George Callaway, Mrs. Abiram Boyd, Miss Daisy Ayler, Mrs. Robert Hicks, Mrs. Chas Kniese, Mrs. Pearl Bertsch, Mrs. Edith Hughes, Mrs. Edna Swiggett and Miss Beatrice Swallow.

Marshall Stahl was moved from Methodist hospital to the home of Mr and Mrs Franklin Reynolds in Indianapolis.

The John B. Ernest school reunion met at Hanagan church on Sunday with Mr Ayres reelected president. Twenty responded to the roll call, eighteen having died since last year. After a bountiful dinner and an afternoon of interest, a wedding served as the closing feature with reunion attendees as guests.
Mr and Mrs Robert Hicks spent several days the first of the week at Chicago and the fair.
Mr and Mrs Herbert Fisher of Chicago will leave at week’s end after spending their vacation with Mrs Florence Shir key and other relatives here.

The W C C meets next week with Mrs Horace Le and a luncheon precedes an afternoon program featuring retiring president Mrs Ozro Mason and H C Cole.
Miss Daisy Ayler stayed with Dr. and Mrs. Robert Miller in Muncie over Labor Day. Mr and Mrs Rupert Woodward were Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs Donald Sherwood in Connersville.
Robert Garrett spent the past weekend at the Century of Progress returning home Wednesday. Miss Janet Miner returned home Sunday from a two month vacation spent with relatives at Lucerne. Mrs. Cleo Ringle and her son of Gary returned home Sunday from vacation with Mr. and Mrs. M. P. McGuire.
John Vallandingham of Wheatley Kentucky is spending the month with his niece Claude and Maurice and families.

Mr and Mrs Harold Beeson joined Century of Progress crowds over Labor Day. Guests included Mr and Mrs Nr J L Harmeier and family and Mr and Mrs Roy Cope land who visited Saturday and Sunday. They spent part of Labor Day at Lake Manitou with hosts Mr and Mrs Gaylord T Rust.
Mrs Laura Richie and sister Mrs Parsons hosted a bridge party Friday at their Main street home. Guests included Mrs Frank Ludington Mrs H C Beck Mrs Roy Copeland Mrs K P Diffenderfer Mrs W H Butler Mrs Frank Florea Mrs R C Leslie Mrs Harry Bond Mrs W H Deney Mrs Clifford Howard and Miss Daisy Ayler. High score went to Mrs Leslie, second to Mrs Florea, and low to Mrs Butler.
