Dublin man dies after collision with speeding car
Arthur Shafer aged 60 of Dublin died the Saturday after his car was broadside by a vehicle driven by George E. Sloan a Wabash College student Crawfordsville. Shafer died at Henry County Hospital about three hours later. Sloan and six others were in the car returning from a dance at Kenyon College. Sloan paid a speeding fine. Shafer survived by a widow four sons two daughters and many relatives. Funeral services were held at James Shafer’s Dublin home and burial was at Riverside cemetery Cambridge City.

Reverend Scheidler Honored at Evangelical Conference
