Walter A. Hunnicutt of Greensfork suffered two broken ribs and a broken arm in an incident at the Mc Mullen garage in Greensfork on Monday morning. He is reported resting comfortably at home.

Harry M. Clark of this city was tried in Wayne circuit court Monday on a charge of keeping a gaming house. He was fined ten dollars and costs and sentenced to twenty days in the county jail. Gilbert Isenhour has not been called for trial.
In a letter to friends she says she remains much the same and not improving as hoped. She received many cards and letters and a birthday bouquet of roses, which she appreciated. She is staying at Fountain City.
Mr. and Mrs. Voyle Martindale and son James left Saturday for Brooklyn New York. Mrs. Martindale has recovered from burns and will join the trip. They plan to be away about six weeks with Mr. Martindale returning after a few days for business stops.
