The Ladies Aid Society held an all day quilting in the municipal building with a pitch-in dinner at noon. Mrs Horace Stant spent Saturday in Indianapolis hospital with her sister who recently had thyroid surgery. Mrs Albert Lamberson is recovering from a severe attack of gas stones. The Bradways and Plummers drove to Madison to view flood waters. Mrs Kate Cole hosted relatives from near Greenfield. The Women’s Home Institute club met with Mrs Hill. two guests attended. A program featured a paper on The Value of Hobbies, a reading, an article on Formation of Life’s Patterns, a vocal solo, and refreshments followed. Mothers and Daughters Evening will be held next in the school auditorium hosted by Mrs Henley Pickering Huffman.
