Richard Maple returned home from Fort Benjamin Harrison for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Shewman and family visited relatives in Dayton, Ohio, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Zuttermeister of Winchester also spent Sunday with relatives in the area.
Mrs. C. H. Graver comes home Sunday from the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis where she underwent major surgery about two weeks ago.
Mrs. Elmer Newkirk seeks contractors to bid on spring cleaning of Capital Hill cemetery with completion aimed by Decoration Day.
Mrs. Fred Munsch of Muncie returned home Sunday after visiting her mother Mrs. Robert Myers for several days last week. Mrs Myers has been ill with a blood clot in her hand.
Mr and Mrs Don Murray and Mr and Mrs Ernest Reynolds of near Muncie traveled to Chicago after the deaths of Mr and Mrs Charles Muncie in a late Saturday afternoon automobile accident.
Mrs. James Dolan hosted Tuesday afternoon for the Mary Matthews Home Economic club. Mrs. Harold Beeson and Mrs. Harley Anderson presented project lessons. A white elephant exchange highlighted the program.

Mr and Mrs Herbert Hodson and their daughter from Covington Kentucky spent the weekend with his parents Mr and Mrs Artur Hodson.
Dr and Mrs Will Harter of Sulphur Springs spent Tuesday visiting friends in the area.

The Girl Re starts the annual Mothers Daughters banquet at 6 tonight at Lincoln High School. Guest speaker is Miss Gertrude Crouch of Fortville presenting What All the World is Seeking. Music by Earlham trio Julia Ann Anderson Martha Morrow and Rosemary Hamilton.
Mrs. Frank Metzger of Richmond visited her mother Mrs. Dela Toms last week. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morris hosted a family dinner for George Morris’s birthday at their Howard apartments home. Edith Hughes with daughters Mary and Elizabeth and Mrs. Sedwick visited friends in Richmond. Mrs. Clarence Ingermann of Connersville spent Wednesday with locals. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Paul of Hagerstown bought the Coney property in Mount Auburn and plan to move after remodeling.
Mr and Mrs Dan Reed visited relatives in Con for a weekend excursion. The brief trip highlighted family time away from home with casual sightseeing and local gatherings.

Announcement of the marriage of Miss Mary L. Stout daughter of Mr and Mrs William R Stout of Connersville to Russell Golay son of Mr and Mrs Melvin Golay of this city. The single ring ceremony was read Saturday afternoon at the parish house of the Central Christian church Connersville by Rev George Wyatt. The bride wore a blue ensemble with black accessories. They will reside in Connersville.
