Fire destroyed a seven room two story farm home occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Elias Scott near Locust Grove church last Thursday afternoon around 2 30. Sparks from the flue caused the roof to catch. Insurance covers part of $3 000 damage. Furniture on second floor and valuables were lost. clothes and fruit spoiled. The family seeks temporary living quarters in an adjoining wash house until a new dwelling is built.
