Albert Ferris of Milton officially enters the race for State Senator from Wayne county. His name will appear on the Republican primary ballot on May 8 as announced by the Indiana Secretary of State.

Harry Keiser of Richmond was the Thursday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Keiser, sharing time at their home.

Indiana Railroad updates its timetable effective Monday affecting two cars through Cambridge City. Eastbound train now departs at 2 55 p.m. instead of 3 20 p.m. Westbound train leaves at 2 16 p.m. instead of 2 31 p.m.

The town council moves from the old town hall to a newly completed city building, created as a CWA project. The facility includes a clerk’s office with plate glass, a fireproof vault, a hose elevator, and jail, with rest rooms, heating, and space for trucks and equipment. Built in 1895 as a waterworks plant, remodel completed at about $5,000. the old hall was condemned sixty years ago.
