Mrs Walter Templin to host Embroidery group next week. Geo Weber dinner guests of Karl Royer and family. Mrs Walter Higham will visit Thursday with Hoshour family. Jennie Doneka burned arm Friday unable to attend school. Cambridge City folks attended M B E church services Sunday night. Washington Township League of Women Voters met with Mrs Eva Thornburg Monday. Mr Hopper of Evansville promoting Evansville College drive. Morgan McMahan in poor health and unable to attend church. Mrs Hoshour and daughters visited Mrs Walter Higham in Richmond Saturday. Dance at the Grange ball Thursday night. another Friday night March 7. Marie Snyder unable to be with pupils Monday due to tonsillitis. Miss McMentau in charge of the room. Mrs Sarah Kinney of Milton leaves for Florida next week to join husband near Pensacola in ground farming venture.

Amanda Book returned from Indianapolis to her daughter Mrs Frank Whoter. John Shafter visited from Indianapolis. Mr and Mrs M M Dexter and family of Indianapolis spent Sunday with her parents. Charles Serber jokes about shaving his mustache after forty five years. Lutheran Cemetery Association to hold annual meeting and election of directors at the church next Saturday afternoon. Four ladies of the Ku Klux Klan entered Evangelical church service, knelt at altar, and gave Rev Geiger an envelope with 10 and a note praising the Klan from Cambridge City. Walnut Level lodge and Encampment roll call Saturday night, attendance fair though improvable. speeches and letters read. refreshments managed by a young men’s committee. luncheon and smoker followed.
In Belle Plaine Iowa two senior Falls brothers aged 74 72 and their half brother met for the first time in town as Isaac Falls of Cambridge City Indiana arrived to join the family gathering The siblings separated in Illinois years ago after their mother died and only recently rediscovered each other Their sister Tva Peet of Gilman Iowa plans to join the reunion and the group plans a visit to Tiles Oklahoma to see another elder brother The aged carpenter Tease Falls celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary on Christmas Day but his wife died January 5 continuing the family’s long separations before this landmark reunion.
