Wheat grading rules and price schedule changes anticipated
The government has not announced any change in wheat grading. Existing standards remain in force with last year’s top grades: number one 61 pounds, two 59, three 57, four 55, five 53, plus inseparable foreign material and other condition factors. Definite prices under the new schedule will be received in a few days due to freight-rate changes.
