To divert traffic during river bridge construction Central school area will see east Church street crossing grants sought for right of way. Main street will close for two blocks each side of the river during the work. Also notices visits by Connersville residents are mentioned.
Mrs George Hormel and Mrs Clif ford Howard attended a Help One Another club co operative dinner at the home of Mrs Charles Fagan in Dublin on Wednesday.
Mr and Mrs Richard Ammon of Idanapolis have returned home after spending several days with his parents Mr and Mrs Floyd Ammon.
Dublin items record trips to Florida by Charles Wampler and nephew Ivan Wampler, illness for Wilbur Clevenger, visits by McCulloughs, Wrights, Scotts and other families, church revivals with Rev. The American Legion and Junior Auxiliary hosted a Monday chili supper followed by a brief talk on the Legion’s legislative program by Bruce Peters. Dorothy Jean Snyder played piano, Jean Wilson and Geraldine Crockett performed dances, then the groups held regular sessions. Next meetings are February 3 for the Auxiliary and February 4 for the Legion. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Porter and daughters visited the Wyer family over Sunday.
Mrs. Sarah Tague of Richmond has come home after spending the last days of the week with former neighbors and friends.
Mrs M R Krahl fell at her sister Mrs Ed Paul’s home last Thursday and sprained her ankle. Homer Smith and George Wheeler are in Cleveland Ohio this week attending the National Road meeting.

Scores went to Miss Allen and Mrs. Graham.
Lee B Florea of Milton Ind won top all around livestock man honors at the Indiana Imuana Livestock Breeders Association banquet in Lafayette. He received a trophy from W A Wilkey Son and earned multiple gold silver and bronze medals in Hoosier ton litter 1000 Pound Calf Club and lamb production contests.
Mrs Carl Boyd is reported critically ill at the home of Mrs Lillian Byba in Dublin. The brief notice provides no further medical details or timeline.
