Owen Stonecipher ill with shingles. several gatherings marked by holiday dinners and a Friday Night club Hawaiian evening chaired by Mrs Irvin Harmeier.
Milton neighbors share Christmas visits with relatives in Richmond Indianapolis and Kentucky. Social activities include Eastern Star officer installation a coop supper and numerous holiday gatherings at homes churches and the YMC A.

Mr and Mrs John Schepman celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Monday January 6 1930 at 444 Ninth Street Richmond Indiana. Relatives and friends are invited to call between 1 and 2 hours, 4 and 7 and 10 p.m. They have lived in Wayne County most of their lives with two children Roy Indianapolis and Esther Richmond and eight grandchildren.

She is a Indiana State University graduate and brings teaching and hospital dietitian experience. The new semester begins January 13 with a beginning class at the Central building and eligibility for six year olds by March 15.
Mr and Mrs Elmer Huddleston hosted a Christmas chicken dinner with guests Henry Pfifer Jr and family of Hagerstown John Jennie and Alonzo Rybolt Grover Rybolt and family and Grant Rybolt and family.

Mrs. Rachel Scheidler, longtime resident, will celebrate her ninetieth birthday next Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. W. Cook, Hicksville Ohio. Born northwest of town, she and her late husband Rev. Aaron Scheidler lived on the farm before moving in with their children. Pending well wishes may be sent to Mrs. Rachel Scheidler care Dr. H. W. Cook.
Gilbert Hunt was home from Columbus Ohio over the weekend visiting family and friends.
Dr and Mrs C M Snyder and their daughter spent the weekend in In, taking a brief excursion. The trip highlighted a family outing with no further details provided.

The Geneva Hatcheries Inc of Geneva Indiana has leased the Callaway store room from Morris and Krahl and will install an up to date hatchery. The local branch will be headed by A R Wilcox and operations are expected soon.
Announcement notes the wedding of Miss Edna Dearing daughter of John H. Dearing and Floyd Vossler son of Mr and Mrs Lewis Vosler. The nuptials reportedly occurred last September and both were Lincoln High School students with Dearing a junior and Vossler a senior.

Miss Pauline Marson hosted a charming dinner Friday night for Mary Catherine Johnson who departed Sunday for a new home in Texas. Attending were Misses Mary Miller, Jean Rander, Marjorie Fetters, Ruth Judkins, Edith Duff, and Genevieve Franklin.
