Laura L. Stoddard, daughter of Daniel and Eliza Strattan, born near Doddridge in Keydae county Indiana, lived most of her life in Wayne County. She taught school and instrumental music, was a devout M E church member, married John D. Stoddard in 1868, and died December 14 1918 at the Oxford Retreat Ohio at age 85. Funeral and burial were in Centerville.

John P. Mungavin died at his Richmond home December 3 1918 aged 42 years 3 months 22 days He was born August 11 1875 in New Paris Ohio son of Thomas and Mary Mungavin He served 25 years in railway work as a teleg rapher and was train dispatcher for the Pennsylvania Company at Richmond He married Margaret Pusinelli on June 20 1900 and they had a daughter Margaret Elizabeth who died in infancy He was a devout Catholic respected by neighbors and left surviving his wife his mother two sisters three brothers and many relatives The funeral was held December 6 at St Marys Church Richmond with interment at Riverside Cemetery Cambridge City The family poem laments his loss and promise of meeting again.
