Two women died and several others were hospitalized after a Sunday evening crash on U S 40 west of Dublin near the Kehoe farm. Mrs. George White of Kingsmore West Virginia died at the scene. sister Mrs. James G. Phillips died later at Henry county hospital.

Legion Auxiliary Card Party Funds Christmas Dinner
The American Legion and Auxiliary plan a public card party on December 18 to raise funds for the annual Christmas dinner for underprivileged children. Tickets are sold by Legion and Auxiliary members and at Danner's store and Grigsby's drug store. All proceeds support the dinner and any surplus funds aid community welfare work. The underprivileged children's dinner takes place December 23.

American Legion Post Receives National Citation for Service
Lawrence H. Bertsch post of the American Legion earned a national citation for its community service efforts in the past year signed by Frank T. Belgrano the retiring national commander.
