Indiana Railroad Traction Petition Hearing Delayed

The public service commission postponed the hearing on the Indiana Railroad traction petition from Indianapolis to Greenfield to September 17. The petition seeks to abandon part of the eastern division, with plans to reroute traffic via the Honey Bee line to New Castle Dunreith and Richmond. Hoover family reunion gathers 122 at J C Howard home

The twenty second annual Hoover reunion was held at J C Howard's near the city on August 16. 122 registered, fewer than usual, with a noon cafeteria dinner. Officers were re elected: John Hoover president Myrtle Gosler first vice president Paul L Ross second vice president Mrs J C Howard secretary J C Howard treasurer. The next meeting set for August 1932 at the Howards. Heffley Family Reunion Elects Secretary-Treasurer

Mrs Grace Fuhrman was elected secretary treasurer of the Heffley family reunion held for the first time at Forest Park Fort Wayne Sunday. The reunion will be held in Logansport in 1932 and at the old Heffley homestead north of the city in 1933.
