Casper Markle an early Cambridge City settler died August 13 1896 in his home after a long residence in the area He was born in Butler County Ohio September 9 1XT5 and lived there for ten years nine months and days before moving to Indiana where he remained a steady resident until his death

He has a contract to perform a musical specialty act introducing seven different musical instruments.
