Indiana Fair Judges Contest Attracts Farm Youth
A judging contest for Indiana farm youth aged 16 to 20 will run during the state fair week in September. It offers four free Purdue University scholarships as prizes and is directed by Purdue experts. Since 1909 nineteen boys from thirteen counties have won scholarships through the event.

Great Darke County Fair Opens in Grenville 1913
The Great Darke County Fair runs August 25 to 29 at Grenville Ohio with five thousand dollars in premiums and four thousand in speed purses. Three races daily feature Prof Sands 7th Regiment Band plus a 100 strong Greenville Boy Scout exhibition drill and first aid display. Also on show are the O Kara Japs Finks dogs and mules and Harry Hill’s Wild Whet Mazeppa pay shows.
