Lindholm a Pasadena police captain in charge of the department’s investigations for the past years was named assistant police chief. The appointment by Police Chief Samuel Addis becomes effective immediately to fill the post Addis vacated two years ago. Lindholm, in the department since 1937, topped an exam for the position and will oversee recruitment training and personnel matters as he heads the department in Addis’s absence.
