Rose Queen Hopefuls Smile for Judges at Rose Bowl
Tournament of Roses judges narrowed PCC coeds from 1500 to 75 for Queen selection. The 170 Pasadena City College entrants gathered at the Rose Bowl as Marilyn Sinuin and officials greeted them. The Queen Selection Committee, chaired by Myron Thomas, includes Gilbert, Slighee, Joelscher, Kenney, Mang and Noble, with Orr Jr. heading public relations. Photographers crowded the scene as the contestants were urged to smile.
