Bank Bandit Locks Nine In Vault At First National

A skilled robber in a flesh colored mask entered the First National Bank in Lake Geneva Wisconsin welcomed nine staff members and herded them into a vault after forcing Vice President George Allen to fill a box with cash. The bandit claimed keys to 12 banks and left a taunting note while escaping in a cashier’s car. Police cordons spread through southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois as the description of the 5 foot 3 inch 150 pound man with a 9 mm Luger circulated.
