Gene Wrong, Charles H. Doremus a Vernos station agent on the Caldwell branch of the Erie Railroad, was arrested in Orange 60 for embezzlement. The auditor alleges Doremus received 825.40 from commuters for New York tickets and did not turn it in. Doremus, 19, was held in 500 bail by Justice Darlington and waived examination to await a grand jury.
