West Orange Baptist Church Formed In New Jersey
A Recognition Council at Watchung Heights Chapel on January 30 advised organizing a West Orange Baptist Church. Nine churches attended. Rev. F. E. Osborn presided. Rev. F. St. John Fitch acted as Clerk. Classes approved the constitution, the church starts with 20 members and a 114 strong Sunday School. Benevolence last year reached 150 with 50 for a native minister in Lodia. The congregation has 800 pledged for a pastor.

Newark board seeks half a million for Cedar Grove reservoir
Last week the Board of Street and Water Commissioners of Newark approved a reform urging the Commons Council to provide 500000 for a storage reservoir at Cedar Grove. The funds would be placed in the new storage reservoir fund and plans for a sixty inch pipe to the storage reef were approved.

Pigeon shooting fight spurs state sportsmen group vote
