Hope for the Territory in Uranium Strikes and Drought
The Northern Territory remains overreported and neglected yet again as drought devastates cattle, while uranium discoveries in Raw Jungle spark future prospects. The government’s mineral rights bill could shift capital from within, fueling a possible inland town revival and a dual path of mining and grazing. Transport shifts toward air and road, with railplans lagging, and Australia’s beef needs underscore the region’s enduring value.
