Memorial note on death of prominent scholar and builder

A distorted obituary passage honors a long serving scholar and cultural builder. It cites his late colleagues, his role in directing collaborative study, and praises his integrity and influence in medieval literature, philology, and national culture. It references events around Marsh 5, 1809, and notes colleagues who speak to his legacy.
