Widow of Richard Miller and about 80 years old, she leaves two daughters and is grandmother to Mrs A Hur at Rich Hill. Burial set for Wednesday at Lawrence cemetery. Also notes flooding in Foster coal pits measles outbreak and two Democrats running for county treasurer.

Convict Escapes From Missouri Penitentiary
Jefferson City February 14 Andrew Washington a Black convict sentenced to nine years for burglary escaped from the Missouri penitentiary Friday night and was recaptured and returned that night He fled in a storm buggy from Burns shoe shop and hid in timber then stole clothes from a farmhouse next day a farmer captured him and brought him back earning a 25 reward for delivering him to the warden.
