Obituary of George H Robinson Civil War veteran
George H Robinson born February 22 1804 in Lincoln county Missouri died January 30 1807 at the Coleman home in Bates county. He served in the Confederate army from 1851, wounded at Carthage July 5 1861, later joined a Texas brigade and fought to war’s end. He lived with S L Coleman for thirty years, joined Church of Christ at about 18, and died after long illness. Funeral conducted by Rev S W Maxey at Jobstown Church with burial in the Coleman lot.
