At the Knox county fair grounds near Barbourville Kentucky two men were fatally shot and three others were seriously wounded including a constable killed. Edward Smith died of wounds John Warren badly hurt. Ralph Tuggle in serious condition. Warren's mother had an arm shot off. John Bailey is the only arrest charged with the killing. Most fighters fled into the countryside.
