Burra Racing Club Reports A Strong Financial Year
The Burra Racing Club Limited held its annual meeting noting a small deficit of £34, then a major track upgrade. A profitable April meeting at Balaklava boosted finances with a £830 profit and £712 net surplus, aided by bookmakers turnover and tote returns. The club funded track improvements, welcomed donor Andrew Tennant, and mourned Cyril Collins.
