Armistice Day Observed in Burra
A short ceremony in Burra on Armistice Day gathered returned soldiers and citizens at Mar Met Square foot of the monument. The Last Post sounded followed by two minutes of silence. Reveille then played as the Burra Sub-Branch of the R. buttoned parade of returned men was dismissed.

Re Union of Anglicans at Baldina Homestead
About two hundred past members of St Marys Church of England Burra gathered at Baldina the Barker homestead on a Saturday afternoon to renew friendships and recall old times. Guests arrived by private car and bus and were welcomed by Mr and Mrs J R Barker. Mrs Barker and staff provided afternoon tea and a garden tour including the lily pond and emu enclosure. Archdeacon Bulbeck attended as visiting church dignitary.
