A public meeting will be held at the Burra Town Hall on Wednesday 27 May 1983 at pm to form a Burra branch of The National Safety Council. Representatives from all organisations are invited to attend. E.R Davey, Town Clerk.

Residents of Hallett and District are notified that a Civic Coronation Service for Queen Elizabeth II will be held at the Hallett Institute at 7.00 pm on Sunday May 1. The service will be conducted by Rev W Glen Clarke, President of the Methodist Church in SA, and a cordial invitation is extended to all to attend.
