Council met in the Council Chamber on Monday June 21 1854 with Mayor W Carpenter and Crs Topsfield Baulderstone Fisher White and Young. Resignations considered from Cr Fisher as Burra High School Council rep and Institute Committee, alterations permission for Paxton Terrace house, tenders for reserves, and public works and accounts approved. Also notes from Burra GWA and branches, jubilee event plans, and a Queen photo gift to school with tea proceeds recorded.
