Burra Local Board of Health Minutes June 8 Meeting
The Burra Local Board of Health met on Monday June 8 with correspondence from the Central Board of Health about free triple Antigen supplies for Whooping Cough Diphtheria and Tetanus and a call for more attention to Health and Food Drug Acts. The board discussed hiring a full time Health Inspector, considered Mr P G Rehn's offer as area inspector at 250 gross per year, and deferred action. They noted a Hospital Board minutes copy and accepted Dr G L Mellor’s resignation with plan to seek Dr L G Miller, plus best wishes for Dr W E Steven’s speedy recovery.
