The Burra Burra District Council announces July 1 as the Winter Period for simultaneous destruction of vermin including foxes within the district. All provisions of the Vermin Act will be strictly enforced. No further individual notice is necessary under this Act.
Notices show multiple assemblies across Redruth circuits with 11 am and 7 pm services led by Rev. figures at various churches including Redruth and Mount Bryan. Salvation Army and Holiness Young People's meetings listed in the evening schedule.
A Sunday service is announced at Burra North for July 1 at 10 A.M. led by Rev C Hoff. Also notice of an examination for Telephonist posting with Postmaster General’s department at Burra on August 2, 1952. Applications close July 16 at noon. open to British female subjects 13 years 11 months to 25 years and ex-servicewomen under 28.
The Adelaide Bottle Co Operative Co Limited advertises payment of one shilling per dozen for collecting and returning specified bottles. Plain wines and spirits, branded wines, beers, and spirits are accepted with freight paid to Mile End or Port Adelaide. Consign as Snoty Returns. CECI. T Reed.
