New Year's Eve Ball Celebrates Hall Debt Clearance
About 400 people attended the Hallett Institute New Year's Eve Ball organized by the Institute Committee. The event marked clearing the hall debt after £1,400 raised since November, and the hall became debt free with a 1929 opening foundation. The committee announced plans to continue annual balls and urged 100 percent attendance at the January 24 AGM to elect the next year’s committee.
