Under the Municipal Corporations Act Amendment Act 1929 all kerbside petrol pumps must be licensed. Licence fee is 11 shillings per year. Licences issued at the Town Clerk's Office, Kooringa. E J Davey, Town Clerk.
By law prohibits any vehicle from being used for hire within the municipality unless licensed by the licensing officer. Applications for licenses are due at the Town Clerk's Office Burra Institute Readings on Saturday January 10th 1981. EJ. Davey Town Clerk.
The Town of Burrs Council has raised an assessment for 1931 using the 1920 valuation with necessary changes. Assessments are available for inspection at the Town Clerk's Office Burra Institute Kooringa from 10 am to 4 pm, except Saturdays noon. Appeals must be filed within ten days at the same office and the council will hear them February 4 at 7:20 pm in the Council Chamber. E. I Davey, Town Clerk.
