The Women's Home League held a social with Father Christmas distributing presents from a well lit tree and supper to end the gathering. The Young People's Anniversary was held December 18 and 14 led by Major Glassonbury with a prize distribution after a program. Mr A J Whimpress left Burra for Adelaide after three and a half years, a loss to the Burra Rifle Club and Vacuum Oil Co depot, with well wishes from staff and clients. Mr K P Ludlow succeeds him.
