Council Eyes Main Road Grant Increase for Local Roads
The Highways Dept was asked how much grant money the town wanted for Main and District roads. A past five year grant of about £60 was deemed insufficient, with calls to repair Smelts and Cemetery Roads. The council (Dr Kellaway) proposed asking for £200 plus £100 from the council, to create one good road, seconded by Dr Woollacott.
